Newport News Crime Line – Week of July 8th, 2019

I’m Master Police Officer Brandon Maynard.  The Newport News Police Department needs your help to solve a homicide.

On April 13, 2019 at 4:45 AM, Newport News Communications received a call of gunshots heard in the 13200 block of Aqueduct Drive. Upon arrival, officers checked the area and located a male victim, later identified as 25 year-old Chre’tien Michael Anthony Brown of the 400 block of Hustings Lane in Newport News, suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics responded and Mr. Brown was pronounced deceased at the scene. There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
