New Tap & Service Connection - Waterworks
EXISTING HOME OR BUILDING WITH WATER SERVICE
If the home or building has water service, and all you need is to establish an account or have water turned on/off, please call Waterworks Customer Service at (757) 926-1000.
NEW CONSTRUCTION WITH NO WATER SERVICE
If you have no existing water service (no connection to a water main) or need an additional connection to water, please note the following:

A water main must front the property.

Developers may elect to have contractors install "service only" in subdivisions. All individual connections are installed by Waterworks.

Fees are based on the size of the meter requested.

Two or more, or any commercial service connections, please contact System Extension Services at (757) 926-1081.

New Service Fees are to be paid to New Service, Waterworks Enterprise Division.
