Surplus Registration

How to become registered as being interested in participating in Surplus Sales

Before Registering, please review the Surplus Auction Categories (listed at the bottom of this page) so that you can tell us the type of items that you are interested in.

To Update an Existing Registration, you must log in.  If this is your first time using this service, there are some things to aid you in logging in for the first time.

  • If you did supply an e-mail address in your past registration, then use that as your login. Your password will be the first five (5) digits of your zip code.
  • If you did not supply an e-mail address, then use your first and last name combined with @surplus.com as your login (e.g. johnsmith@surplus.com). Your password will be the first five (5) digits of your zip code.
  • If you have updated your information before, then use the information you established for your e-mail and password to make any further modifications.
If you still encounter difficulties and know your e-mail address, please use the Retrieve Password function located on the "Update an Existing Registration" page (see the link above). If you are unsure of either your username or password, please contact purchase@nngov.com to obtain further assistance.

Below is a brief synopsis of what is meant by the following categories. Some items do overlap and will be found in more than one category. Items listed below are not guaranteed to be in the next surplus sale but instead are listed to give an idea of what has been sold in the past.

Surplus Auction Categories

School Items Musical Instruments, Desks, Tables, Chairs, Teacher Aides, Audio/Visual, Kitchen Appliances, Typewriters, Computers, Televisions, Wood Shop Equipment, etc.
Police Items Car Radio, CD/Tapes, Stereo Equipment, Televisions, Tools, Bicycles, Clothing, Pagers, Cellular Phones, etc.
Shop Equipment Generators, Metal Detectors, Dip Needles, M-Scopes, Lawnmowers, Weedwackers, Saws, Pumps, Tampers, Motors, etc. (for wood shop equipment, please refer to school auctions)
