Automatic Notifications
RSS Information and Links to third-party providers of Purchasing Solicitations documents
RSS Feeds
We have enabled the use of "RSS Feeds" for the business community that wants to receive automatic notifications whenever a new Request For Proposal (RFP) or Invitation For Bids (IFB) is posted to our website. Click on the icon below to add our solicitations to your RSS reader.
The acronym "RSS" stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary". An RSS feed is an online file, formatted in XML for a range of devices. We don't charge you to use RSS Feeds, and there are many free and inexpensive readers and Web sites that display RSS feeds.
If you use our RSS feature, you will be notified about all of our solicitations. If you wish to narrow the notifications that you receive to a particular commodity or service, you may wish to use one of the third-party organizations below.
Third-Party Notifications
If you would like to limit the notifications you receive to only certain commodities or services, you can join these organizations. These organizations have different membership levels, providing different levels of service. Fees and rates vary.
| eVA is the Commonwealth of Virginia's "Total e-Procurement Solution", and can provide you with notifications of state and local bids. | |
