What To Do With Unwanted TVs and Computer Monitors
To avoid the shattering of glass and the resulting safety issues of glass chards on lawns or streets, items containing glass are not collected as part of your weekly bulk collection service. This includes TVs with glass viewing screens.
| The Solid Waste Division is transitioning from a quarterly Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) site to a permanent facility that would be open each week. The anticipated opening date for the new Facility is during October 2011, possibly before. The exact days and hours of operation will be determined soon, but we are expecting the facility to be open every Saturday, 8 AM -4 PM at the very least. The location of the HHW Facility will be the Denbigh Drop Off Facility, 550 Atkinson Way (one mile north of Denbigh Blvd on Warwick Blvd). |
