Snow Removal - Seasonal
The Street Maintenance Division of Public Works is responsible for snow removal city-wide. The Division works from a priority listing to establish scheduled snow removal routes.
| The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for snow removal city-wide. The Division works from a priority listing to establish scheduled snow removal routes. Priority is given to all bridges and overpasses first. Second priority is given to arterial streets (example: Warwick Blvd. and Jefferson Avenue, etc.), and major collector streets (example: Chesapeake Avenue, Denbigh Blvd., etc.). Third priorities are collector streets such as Marshall Avenue, Beech Drive and Lula Carter Road. A majority of subdivision streets are not scheduled for snow removal.
