The Street Maintenance Division of Public Works is responsible for maintenance of curb and gutter City-wide.
| The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for maintenance of curb and gutter City-wide. The Division replaces deteriorated/uneven curb and gutter on street reconstruction projects and upon citizen requests. Requests are maintained on curb and gutter replacement backlog listing until a crew can be scheduled. |
There is currently a backlog of 20,320 feet, which comprise 571 requests for repairs. The Division has started contracting the replacement to reduce this backlog. Contracting is subject to yearly budgetary constraints. |
