Public Works Service Calendar 2010
Budget constraints this year caused the City to decide not to publish a printed calendar. However, an electronic version of the calendar dates has been created, which will reflect routinely scheduled Public Works services.
| Budget constraints this year caused the City to decide not to publish a printed calendar. However, an electronic version of the calendar dates has been created, which will reflect routinely scheduled Public Works services. This electronic calendar, called the "Public Works Service Calendar," can be found on the Newport News PUBLIC WORKS web page. (Other City events may be found on the City calendar located on the CITY web page.) Among the scheduled services found on this calendar will be the trash collection on the City-observed holidays, household hazardous waste collection dates, curbside recycling dates and street sweeping dates. To assist residents in determining which section their residence is located for street sweeping, please see the last page of the Public Works Service Calendar. |
