Because of scheduled maintenance and a computer system upgrade, some services of the Newport News Public Library System will be limited on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
Newport News, Va. 2011 Dec 21Because of scheduled maintenance and a computer system upgrade, some services of the Newport News Public Library System will be limited on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
Public computer labs at all libraries will be closed that day. Also Library users may not be able to pay fines or check on the availability of materials at the Libraries or on the Library System’s website during this time.
Affected on Jan. 4 will be Virgil I. Grissom Library, Main Street Library, Pearl Bailey Library, West Avenue Library, Public Law Library and the Bookmobile in Newport News. The online catalog, which allows users to check on the availability of materials from the Library’s website, www.nngov.com/library, will not be working, although other parts of the website will be operational.
