Library patrons can now use automated kiosks for printing, visitor card purchases
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Library patrons in Newport News now have a new way to pay for printing and visitor cards. Library Payment Centers were installed at three of the Newport News Public Library System locations over the past months. The Centers allow library patrons to use a touch-screen menu to add money to a Library printing account. Out-of-state visitors may use the Centers to purchase a visitor’s card for $2, which allows computer Internet access.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Library patrons in Newport News now have a new way to pay for printing and visitor cards.
Library Payment Centers were installed at three of the Newport News Public Library System locations over the past months. The Centers allow library patrons to use a touch-screen menu to add money to a Library printing account. Out-of-state visitors may use the Centers to purchase a visitor’s card for $2, which allows computer Internet access.
The Library Payment Centers are available for patron use at Virgil I. Grissom Library, Pearl Bailey Library and Main Street Library in Newport News. Other services may be added to the Centers in the future.
The Newport News Public Library System consists of four public libraries, a public law library and a bookmobile. Programs presented by the Library System are free and open to the public.
