CURBSIDE LOOSE LEAF COLLECTION DELAYED ONE WEEK DUE TO SNOW

Last week’s snow fall prevented most residents from raking their leaves to the side of the road. As a result, the city is delaying the second and final curbside loose leaf collection by one week. Originally scheduled to begin January 3, 2011, the final collection will now begin on Monday, January 10, 2011. The Department of Public Works asks for patience as they work to complete the loose leaf collection schedule.

Public Works Solid Waste Division will continue to collect leaves placed in clear plastic bags on normal bulk collection days to provide residents year-round leaf disposal.
