Book drop at Commissioner of the Revenue office to close

Drop will no longer be functional after Feb. 28

The bookdrop for the Newport News Public Library System that is located at the Commissioner of the Revenue office at 12912 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News will no longer be functional after Feb. 28. Patrons are asked to stop placing any Library materials in the bookdrop after that date.

Other bookdrops at the Library branches, including the drive-up bookdrops at Grissom Library, Main Street Library and Pearl Bailey Libraries, remain open and unaffected.
