Library to host new book discussion group

Groups meets monthly at Main Street Library

Readers have a new way to discuss their favorite books. Newport News’ Main Street Library is a launching a new book discussion group.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. 2009 Feb 25

Readers have a new way to discuss their favorite books. Newport News’ Main Street Library is a launching a new book discussion group.

 

The book club, “Up For Discussion …,” will meet monthly for a discussion of popular book titles facilitated by a librarian. The first book to be discussed is the best-selling novel, “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle” by David Wroblewski.

 

The discussion of this book will be 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, at Main Street Library. The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required.
