Boards and Commissions Information Fair for Newport News Youth

A free Boards and Commissions information fair will be held for Newport News high school youth.

Newport News, VA 2012 Feb 08

A free Boards and Commissions information fair will be held for Newport News high school youth. High school youth interested in serving their community and having the opportunity to provide input and their youth voice to boards and commissions are encouraged to attend.

The Information Fair will be held at the South Morrison Family Education Center, 746 Adams Drive, Newport News, VA 23601 on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Representatives from various agencies, boards and commissions will be available to answer questions and discuss time commitments and responsibilities for members. The event is sponsored by the Newport News Department of Human Services, the Partnership for Youth, and the Newport News Commission on Youth.
