Teens win October contests at Grissom Library
Two teens won contests in October at Grissom Library.
Newport News, Va. 2011 Nov 10Bryce Thompson, age 13, won the costume contest at Grissom Library’s Teen Fright Night, held Oct. 27. Thirty-one teens enjoyed a scavenger hunt, costume contest, snacks and pumpkin decorating at the Library.
Josh Rausch, age 14, won the Teen Read Week WrestleMania reading challenge at Grissom Library. Rausch submitted a letter written to convince a favorite wrestler to read his favorite book, “Don Quixote.” Rausch’s submission will be sent to the Young Adult Library Services Association for a chance to win tickets to WrestleMania 28 in April in Miami, Fla.
