Downloadable audiobooks offered

Newport News Public Library System cardholders have access to more than 1,900 adult, teen and children’s book titles that are available free from NetLibrary/Recorded Books’ website.

Audiobooks are now available to download 24 hours a day. Newport News Public Library System cardholders have access to more than 1,900 adult, teen and children’s book titles that are available free from NetLibrary/Recorded Books’ website.

Library patrons log into the NetLibrary/Recorded Books’ website, http://www.netlibrary.com, using their Library card number. They can download the audiobooks to listen to on their computers and/or transfer them to their portable listening devices for free.

Downloadable copies are always available, there is nothing to return to the Library and no fines.
