Main Street Library will be closed today, Tuesday, Aug. 30, because of the continued power outage. Grissom Library is open, and other Newport News Public Libraries are operating on normal schedules.

The Library System’s Bookmobile will not be making its regular stops, but it will be parked today in front of Main Street Library and open for users to check out and return Library materials. The Bookmobile will be available at Main Street Library 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

The School Bus Safety program that was scheduled for today at Main Street Library has been canceled. The program will be held as scheduled at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Grissom Library.

The Teen Fashion Show will be held today, Tuesday, Aug. 30, as scheduled at 2 p.m. at Grissom Library.
