SCHEDULED RESIDENTIAL STREET SWEEPING CANCELLED

Due to high volumes of debris blocking streets, scheduled street sweeping has been cancelled for the rest of this calendar year.

Scheduled Street Sweeping Cancelled
Due to the high volume of debris resulting from Hurricane Irene, the Department of Public Works is cancelling scheduled street sweeping for rest of this calendar year. Large debris piles blocking the streets would prohibit an efficient method of sweeping using the published schedule street sweeping. Our workforce will be re-deployed to support Hurricane Irene cleanup efforts.

Adjusted Street Sweeping After Debris Removal
The Department of Public Works, Streets Division will conduct street sweeping, as required, throughout the City after debris has been removed.
