Crime Line Success Stories Recent Success #1: On Tuesday, May 31st, we asked media to assist us in locating an unknown male, who was videotaped breaking into the Eagles Nest Learning Center, and Lucky Nails Salon, both located in the 6100 block of Jefferson Avenue . Thanks to Crimeline, this suspect was idenfited as William Eaton, IV, was arrested and charged. CRIMELINE WORKS!

Recent Success #2: On Thursday, September 14th, we asked media to assist us in locating Thomas Kearney, who robbed a victim of both his X-Box and wallet. Thanks to Crimeline, this suspect was arrested and charged within several days. CRIMELINE WORKS! Original Story: On August 23, 2011 36, year-old Thomas Sherard Kearney entered an apartment in the 500 block of Randolph Road to purchase an X-Box video game system from its owner. During the transaction the owner (a 24-year-old Newport News man) changed his mind. Kearney reportedly became angry, produced a handgun and robbed the victim of the X-Box system and his wallet containing several hundred dollars in cash. Kearney then fled the scene in a silver colored Honda Accord with Texas plates.

Based on the investigation warrants were obtained for the arrest of Thomas Sherard Kearney for robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
