The Assistant Chief of Administration and Support Operations assists the Chief of Police in the research, assessment, and development of department programs, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, internal work flow, coordination of work with other city departments and outside agencies, and compliance with legal requirements. |

In addition, this Assistant Chief oversees the Personnel/Support Division, Property and Evidence Unit, Planning Division, and Building Maintenance Detail.
