Skatepark Community Meeting

Skatepark Survey: return by January 11, 2008

 The City of Newport News is seeking citizen participation in a Community Meeting to address if there is the need for a Skateboard Park facility in the city.  The Community Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the B.C. Charles Elementary School, 701 Menchville Road.  Attendees will have an opportunity to comment on the need for a facility; the type, design and amenities desired; how to pay for the construction and operation of the facility, the suggested policies and procedures for use of the park, and the potential location(s) for such a park.
