Books and other library materials are now as close as your mailbox!

If you are a resident of Newport News and are either temporarily or permanently homebound due to age or disability you may qualify for our free Books-By-Mail program. To register complete and mail the application (pdf file, 34 KB) to:

Or give us a call at 757-591-4858 and we will mail an application to you.

Once you are enrolled in the program, items will be mailed to you in nylon zipper bags which must be returned. Prepaid postage is included. You must return the items in the nylon zipper bag.
