To use the Newport News Public Library collection of netLibrary eBooks, you must first visit one of our libraries and set up a personal account.

Once your account is established, netLibrary will recognize you as an NNPLS customer and you may access netLibrary from a computer in the library connected to the Internet or from a remote location.

HOW DO I CREATE A PERSONAL ACCOUNT?

• Go to any Internet computer terminal at one of libraries in the Newport News Public Library System 
• Go to the netLibrary website at: www.netLibrary.com 
• Click on "Create an Account"
• Fill out the account information (Fields in bold red are required)
• Click on Submit
• Read the Terms of Use Agreement and click on Accept
• You may be asked to create a different username, if the name you chose is already in use
• You will receive an "Account Creation Successful" message, letting you know you have an account. You may use your account immediately
