Best selling author Walter Mosley will appear at the Christopher Newport University Ferguson Center on Oct. 28th at 7pm. Free tickets will be available beginning Sept. 15 at member libraries of the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium.
Satellite Youth Career Cafes Open
Teens can get employment assistance, find out about internships, learn how to interview and prepare a resume, and much more at the new Satellite Youth Career Cafes open at the Pearl Bailey and Grissom Libraries this summer. Teens who attend at least six sessions will receive a free USB thumb drive! Sign up for a class today.
Business Information Center Now Open
The Herbert H. Neisser Business Information Center offers books, software, seminars, and workshops related to small businesses, nonprofits, and career information. This center is available at the Main Street Library, 2nd Floor.
Dream Makeovers
2008 is the year of Dream Makeovers at your library. Programs will be held throughout the year describing how to improve your garden, your home, your finances, your car, and more.
