The City of Newport News’ Department of Libraries and Information Services includes four public libraries, a Public Law Library, and one Bookmobile.
The mission of the Newport News Public Library System is to build a strong community that reads and uses the Library System as a tool to achieve academic, economic and personal growth, thereby enriching the community as a whole.
