Child Care Provider Opportunities
Quality child care homes are needed in the community to meet the needs of working parents. There are two methods of becoming a family child care home:
- Voluntary Registration Program - This allows family child care home providers to keep up to five children. A representative for the Voluntary Registration Program can be reached at 627-3993-extension 3027.
- Licensed Family Child Care Homes - Providers may be licensed to care for five or more children, and may charge a higher rate. The Peninsula Licensing Office phone number is 247-8020.
