We are pleased to offer City of Newport News employees flu shots this 2009 season. The H1N1 flu vaccine will not be offered as part of the City Flu Vaccine Program but should be available through your physician’s office for an amount equal to your customary co pay. Below you will find the link to your packet of information from OCCUMED that must be completed prior to your arrival at the facility. All potential flu shot recipients must be dressed appropriately. Please make sure that your upper arm is accessible. This will help the lines move efficiently. Also, individuals who require their physician’s approval to receive the flu shot must have written approval with them or their shot will not be administered.
