• Safety Commission 2011 Goals and Initiatives
  • "Safety Edge" recommendation to Engineering for adoption into the Design Criteria Manual.  Commission report and cover memo with recommendations to the Director of Engineering, copy the City Manager to be prepared no later than the Commission's November meeting.
  • Evaluate minimizing the places where buses, both school and HRT stop on the roadway.  Commission report and cover memo with recommendations to the Director of Engineering, copy the City Manager to be prepared no later than the Commission's November meeting.
  • Spot radio reports on rear seat belt usage and motorized wheel chair use.  Recommended script for Radio public education spot to be prepared no later than the Commission's August meeting with distribution action to occur prior to the November meeting.
    
  • Evaluate lighted street name signs at appropriate major intersections.  Commission report and cover memo with recommendations to the Director of Engineering, copy the City Manager to be prepared no later than the Commission's November meeting.
