The Architectural Services Division accomplishes in-house design (plans and specifications), administration, inspection and quality control services related to programmed and non-programmed architectural projects in the Public Buildings and Parks categories of the City's Capital Improvements Plan (CIP).  This division performs other architectural initiatives as directed by management as well as review of consultant's plans and specifications prior to bidding.  In addition, this Division also administers the City Asbestos and Lead Management Programs, administers all City demolition projects, which entails performance of site environmental assessments, development of project specifications, inspection of project activities, etc.  This Division manages the Indoor Environmental Assessment Program (IEA) for City-owned and leased buildings, conducts IEA investigations and makes recommendations for remedial actions.
