Vacating a Right of Way - J. Clyde Morris Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO VACATE A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY IN
THE CITY OF NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA

Pursuant to § 15.2-2006 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the Newport News City Council will hold a public hearing concerning the approval of an ordinance vacating a portion of right of way containing approximately 209.69 square feet at the southwest corner of the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and J. Clyde Morris Boulevard, on November 22, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., at the Newport News Council Chambers, 2400 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia.

City Council encourages interested persons to attend the meeting and express their views on this issue. Questions concerning this matter may be directed to the Newport News Department of Development at 926-8428.
