NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NEWPORT NEWS CITY COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that the Newport News City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday evening, November 22, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 2400 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia, for the purpose of discussing and taking action on the following:
CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS
CU-11-288, PCT LLC. (Remanded by City Council October 25, 2011) Requests a conditional use permit to allow for the operation of a church located in Building 500, Suite 511 at 610 Thimble Shoals Boulevard on a 7.28 acre property zoned C4 Oyster Point Business District. The parcel No. is 195.00-01-43. The Planning Commission recommended denial.
CU-11-292, Bayberry Village Associates, LLP. Requests a conditional use permit to allow for the operation of a pawn shop located at 980 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard, Unit No. 113 (Bayberry Village Shopping Center) and zoned C1 Retail Commercial. The Parcel No. is 175.00-02-36. The Planning Commission recommended denial.
