NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NEWPORT NEWS CITY COUNCIL

Notice is hereby given that the Newport News City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday evening, September 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 2400 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia, for the purpose of discussing and taking action on the following:

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

CU-11-288, PCT LLC. Requests a conditional use permit to allow for the operation of a church located in Building 500, Suite 511 at 610 Thimble Shoals Boulevard on a 7.28 acre property zoned C4 Oyster Point Business District. The parcel No. is 195.00-01-43. The Planning Commission recommended denial.

Interested persons are invited to attend the public meeting to express their views and concerns on these matters. The proposed applications may be examined at the Department of Planning, 2400 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia (phone number 926-8761) or on the web at www.nngov.com/planning. If you are disabled and will require an accommodation in order to participate in the meeting, please call the office of the City Clerk at least three days in advance of the meeting at 926-8634.
