Conveyance of City Owned Property to the IDA - Apprentice School

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING APPROVING
A CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY
TO THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA

 

Pursuant to Section 15.2-1800 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the Newport News City Council will hold a public hearing concerning the approval of a conveyance of property to the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Newport News, Virginia, (the IDA), on August 9, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., at the Newport News Council Chambers at 2400 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia. The property is to be conveyed to the IDA. The parcels have street addresses of 3301 Washington Avenue, 129 - 33rd Street and 126 - 34th Street.

City Council encourages interested persons to attend the meeting and express their views on this issue. Questions concerning this matter may be directed to the Newport News Department of Development at 926-8428.
