Item 10. Citizen Comments on Matters Germane to the Business of City Council
J. Hill Requested expediting the investigation involving the police shooting of Robert Harper.
T. Savage Spoke in opposition to the proposed Hampton Roads Transportation Authority.
P. Lynch Questioned the repeated police shooting of Robert Harper.
K. Place Supported earlier speaker who felt citizens will have to leave the City because of taxation. Spoke in opposition to the creation of the Hampton Roads Transportation Authority.
K. Killebrew Stated that RETRO will continue with its budgetary
concern and work to continue lowering the real estate tax rate.
K. Wynne - Concerned about the length of time its taking to complete the investigations pertaining to the police shooting of Robert Harper.

Item 11 . New Business and Councilmember Comments
Frank Congratulated our City Clerk for being named 1st Vice President of Municipal Clerk’s Association (VMCA).
McMillan Congratulated Ms. Blanco of the Engineering Department on receiving her Masters Degree.
Scott Announced that there will not be a North District town meeting for the month of May. Inquired of the City Manager on the timeline in receiving the reports related to the Harper shooting case.
