Item 10. Citizen Comments on Matters Germane to the Business of City Council
T. Budlong Expressed concern about the City’s recent bid to acquire the State Farm building on Omni Boulevard.
J. Hill Commented negatively about the Police Chief’s report on the Robert Harper shooting.
R. Langford Spoke disparagingly about the forthcoming police department’s report on the Robert Harper shooting. Took exception to certain details of the report. Requested City Manager to initiate an investigation of the Police Department.
H. Wrice Noted that the police department’s report on the Harper shooting is unacceptable. Requested City Council to bring justice in regards to the case.
L. Cary Concerned that justice is not being done in regard to the Harper shooting case.
K. Winn Spoke in support of the Harper family in seeking justice regarding the Harper police shooting. Recounted personal experience of harassment by the police officer that shot Robert Harper.
H. Williams Expressed concern about the lack of police accountability regarding the Robert Harper shooting.

Item 11 . New Business and Councilmember Comments
Hildebrandt Presented a resolution to amend the Master Water bond resolution – moved and approved.
McMillan Congratulated all recent City high school graduates.
Scott Announced that the next North district town hall meeting is scheduled for June 25th.
Allen Made a motion to approve an appropriation of $300,000 for police overtime to address city-wide youth violence. Seconded and approved.
