Purpose

The Commission recommends to City Council plans for the formulation of a transportation safety programs for the City, periodically reviews the operation and effectiveness of the program and recommends amendments to such program.

Ranking Member of the Newport News Police Department|
Traffic Engineer of the City
Supervisor of Driver Education and Safety for the Public Schools

Four years (youth - 2 years)

Meeting Date

This Commission meets quarterly, usually on Thursday in the second month of each quarter.
